The presentation day

The best point in my presentation is speaking fluently and have an eye contact. I like to talk in front of audience although I feel nervous little bit, so I can enjoy my presentation. On the other hand, the worst thing of my presentation are slides. I am not good at making presentation slides, so I want to practice it for my future presentation. Thus, I will improve my slides in order to look easily.  I like presentation because I can express myself  in my talking, so I really enjoy this class.

The first presentation in class

The last class was for presentations, and I introduced the Sky Tree and its beuty. I was familiar to this topic, so I had no troubles when I made the presentation. However, I realized that I had not practiced enough for the presentation, so I had some pauses in my speech. Thus, one of the achievements of the next presentation is to have no pauses in my speaking at all. Therefore, I am going to practice by using slides and record it. My classmates always say that I talk very fast, so I would like to care about my speed of talking. In the next presentaion, I will talk about the Sky Tree again, but I will change a littele bit. I will advertise the Sky Tree to my classmates. For example, I want to introduce a lot of  shops and foods of the Sky Tree. Also, I am going to refer to its beauty. I feel nervous now, but I am sure that the next presentation will become great one.

Presentation

I had several times to do presentations in my high school, but I was not able to do that well. I always think how I should I do for better presentations. I watched the presentation video, and I noticed my previous presentations were very boring because I did not use body languages well. I only stood in front of audience, so I was like a machine. Also, my power points in my presentations were not good because I did not care about the balance, colors and effects. In this class, I learn how to make good power point's slides, so I would like to do better presentations next class.

Zotero 2nd

Yesterday's class was additional zotero's lessons. In the previous class, I had not understand how to use zotero completely, but yesterday's class complemented my understanding. Then, I thought zotero was wonderful again. In fact, I have not experiened to write essays so much, so I do not know bibliography is hard because I use a few quotation from only a few books at the same time. However, I realized that I have to utilize the more books in writing essays because I need to do for clarifing my thesis. Also, amozon books was good source. I did not know I could see the contents a littele bit on the amazon. It is difficlt for me to assume the contents from titles, authers or short information, so I used this function yesterday for serching books for essays in library. Our class started writing essays a week ago, so I am now busy and hard to write essays. I will spend hard time, but zotero will be aid for my essays.

zotero; this is a hero to help my work

Our class started to write essay about culture finally, so we should confront each of our essays more than 3 weeks. We have already wondered the topic or thesis, but one of the biggest problem is "works sited", and it should be solved as soon as possible. Zutero was introduced in the R&P class, then I thought it was a kinds of the "hero" for my essays. It was like a magic, so it will help me for a long time.
However, I could not use zutero in the class, so Iam going to download it and use for practicing.

Libarry Orientation

We had the 2nd library orientation in R&P class at library. I'm not a enthusiastic user of library, but it is useful for students in ICU because we have to write many essays without whichever courses we take. The most useful tools I knew is Grammaly that check users grammer mistakes and it shows that which parts we have taken from other books. It is the very aid of students. But I thought it was not enough to understand the system and the usage only for an hour. I want additional lecture about library and tools there. Before I will up to my neck with assignments to do, I will go to the library and use the wonderful tools for writing better essays.

The fantastic functions

 Today's class was interesting for me because I met new tools, using on the computer. Awsome screen shot is one of the most effecteve functions that I had used. I always thought if I were able to take screen shot on the mac like iPhone. Before today's class, I should have take notes or photos by my iPhone when I want to keep the page on the Internet. Therefore, this is a long-awaited tool for me. Feedly, that I downloaded into my iPhone, seemed like useful, but I did not really understand its effectiveness so much. I know that is useful for teachers like you, but I am not able to find out the any points, so I want to know feedly and how to use it fruitflly.
